Unfortunately all events and tours are overpriced. Guards and guides are lethargic bordering on unfriendliness. The installations and the habitat is first class and top notch. Too bad that the guides are not a good match
Looking at all the different fish underwater was cool, but if you've been to many big aquarium like Baltimore or Atlanta, it's like that only not as big or as good. Tunnels were dank and wet, glass needed to be cleaned in places. Can be crazy crowded, so look for off peak times away before "the check in crowd" arrives. Gift shop is stocked with typically over-expensive cheap junk. Best part was clear tunnel under shark tank - if you can find it empty, great place for a photo shoot.
Best part of Atlantis, hands down. My daughters loved looking at all the different fish, sharks, sting rays, etc. Very diverse life in the various tanks for a hotel, though this is obviously not your ordinary hotel.
If you're at Atlantis, don't miss it, but don't make a special trip if you've been to any large aquariums. Probably is one of the best things to do on the island besides the beaches. They have some creative Atlantis sunken city themed ruins mixed in that make it a cool experience. There is free admission after a certain time (possibly 5pm). Enter next to the restaurant, as there is poor signage to direct you. The restaurant has an amazing view of the main aquarium.

::This is a true jewel. This aquarium presents an amazing -- really unequaled -- experience. You are in the tank, and the fish swim around you.
