The staff here are very helpful and are willing to go that extra mile to make your visit a pleasant and stress free experience. Our visit was an unplanned one, after my partner was taken into the hospital with a suspected blood clot. Thankfully we left the hospital 17 hours later, after which we stayed at the Hilton and enjoyed their room service, before flying back to Exuma to continue our holiday.
Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Jewel at the front desk was especially helpful, checked on our room and made sure we got in as soon as it was cleaned and available. We arrived early and enjoyed the beach and pool. Cabanas on the beach and hammocks by the pool. There is a great bar pool side, for drinks and food. Great view of the harbor where cruise ships dock. Right in downtown Nassau.
Beautiful views. Sat by one of the bar tables and had drinks and appetizers with family. They bar staff serves fairly quickly and but in orders to the kitchen in a reasonable time period. Minimal wait for food. Lots of televisions as well focused on a variety of sports shows, however they are accommodating and will change the channel if requested. Seating at the bar or at tables indoors or out.
Great place to hold functions, the refreshments are wonderful. The interior decor,is very exquisite. I love the idea of the hammocks out in the back near the beach and the fact that it has a very historical background.
It is built upon the grounds, where Fort Nassau was(our very first fort). And also there is a completely picture worthy statue of Woodes Rogers in front, great for a family picture👍👍👍
Unfortunately, my company has booked us to stay at the Hilton a few times During the course of the past year. Candidly speaking, the warmth and welcome ends at the Valet podium. Tonight when I arrived to check in I was forced to stay in a room with one of my Colleagues until the room was “ready”. It’s frustrating that at every visit the atmosphere is cold and unaccommodating. What’s even more sad is, had we been of a different race, the reception would have been different.
I’m here on business, so the amenities are never enjoyed by my team and I but when the lady in white from the front desk (God I wish I remembered her name) personally delivered the keys to my room with a hello and a good night I was shocked. Is there no care for customer service at the Hilton? What provisions are made for a guest who arrives at 10:35 pm only to find that the room isn’t “ready?”
